After completing her qualifications with a well-known Cornwall firm, Lesley Johnson FCA joined Condy Mathias in 1987, heading up the Management Services department. She immediately embraced her myriad responsibilities, including business planning and cash flow projections.
As Client Manager, she now handles a wide variety of projects for her client base, comprising professional partnerships, family-owned companies and sole traders. Her areas of expertise include traditional tax and accounting compliance work.
Throughout her career, Lesley has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to her clients and her colleagues.
As her retirement approaches, Lesley said: “I have loved every moment of working with the Condy Mathias team.
“Since I first started at the firm, early in my career, I have been supported and empowered to take on new projects and learn new things. This has really helped me to build relationships with clients and earn the trust that’s so integral to the work that we do.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects that I never imagined in my career and meet some incredible people. Thank you to everyone on the team!”
The impact of Lesley’s professionalism and positive approach to her work continues to be felt by the Condy Mathias team.
John Hillier, the firm’s Managing Director, said: “From all of us in the team, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to Lesley for her dedication to the firm and to our clients.
“The work she has done for us is invaluable. With high standards and an ongoing willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and practices, Lesley has been a real asset to the firm.
“It’s a testament to our incredible team and the working environment that we have all created, that our staff are choosing to stay with us for decades, or – in Lesley’s case – most of their careers!
“We wish Lesley all the best in retirement and good luck for this new chapter of her life.”
