Leading independent South West accountancy firm, Condy Mathias, has been shortlisted as Employer of the Year at the high-profile Great British Business Awards – celebrating an ‘outstanding contribution’ to its staff in the past 12 months.

Run by Great British Expos, the awards recognise and reward the ‘best of achievement’, launched in 2024 to mark the 12th anniversary of the corporate and charity events specialist.

Winners will be announced from the shortlist at a dedicated awards ceremony on 18 April 2024, hosted at the Hilton, Reading.

In recognition of the significant achievements of all nominees and winners, the ceremony will provide a glamorous opportunity to celebrate, with live entertainment, an inspiring keynote speech and a charity auction.

Condy Mathias features on a shortlist of 17 nominees, all recognised for their approach to looking after their people, contributing to the community, creating opportunities for development, enhancing motivation and adapting to change.

Managing Director, John Hillier, said: “We’re honoured to have been included on the shortlist for Employer of the Year.

“This is a fantastic reflection of our commitment to our team, from professional development opportunities to enhancing equality and diversity in the accountancy sector.

“Congratulations to the whole team who have made this possible through an unwavering dedication to creating an exceptional culture that allows everyone to thrive.”
