Catherine started working at Condy Mathias at the age of 18 and started with us as an apprentice. Catherine has worked in all different departments in the firm, she started in bookkeeping before moving into the accounts team whilst also picking up payroll and tax experience on the way. Catherine is currently developing her Audit skills and working towards her audit qualification which she is really enjoying. In her time working here she has completed all levels of her AAT qualification and is now a qualified accountant and is currently training for her ACA qualification to become a chartered accountant.
Catherine has lived in Plymouth her whole life and loves going for walks on Dartmoor and trips to beaches in Cornwall with her family and dog Poppy. Catherine loves to bake delicious treats (and eat them too!) especially a good chocolate brownie. In her spare time Catherine has performed the duty of being a Special Constable for Devon & Cornwall Police. She is currently taking a break whilst completing her chartered studies, but in the time served, has learned valuable interpersonal skills and loves using this experience to interact with clients and build great relationships with them.
